This is a sort of tag fic to 2x05 "Preternatural". I really enjoyed this episode, but I can't resist a good opening for some hurt/comfort fics. So these are some extended or missing scenes from the episode, in which Colter doesn't pull through quite as easily as we're lead to believe. It will still be canon compliant to the events of the episode, just with a bit more whump, angst, and comfort. This is gonna be three chapters total. The comfort half of the hurt/comfort will be arriving in the final chapter.
